<p>WLM (Workload Manager) 是z/OS最核心的一个组件，它是用来动态分配主机资源的总调度师，也是MF能够长时间占据主导数据处理平台的关键之一，很少人有机会去接触这部分内容，下面让我们在Hercules对WLM进行一些简单的了解。</p>
<p>在ISPF输入tso iwmarin0进入WLM界面，输入回车：</p>

<p>因为在之前我们配置中我们新建了自己的WLM Couple DS，所以当前系统的WLM里面是没有内容的，于是我们选择1，输入原厂的WLM定义</p>

<p>你可以进入各个选项来查看这组定义，通常单机只需要一个WLM Policy，而Workload则会有Online， Batch， TSO等等，我们今天只对其中的Service Class进行配置即可。</p>

<p>作为z/OS Communication Server的另一组成部分，即现在应用最广的IP协议，是我们今天配置的内容。其实在PC上配置Hercules的TCPIP要比在MVS上复杂多了，如果你跟我一样，使用的是64位的Win7+无线网卡+DHCP路由，那么恭喜你，最麻烦的你都将经历一遍，不过也正好可以把PC-CTC-Hercules一次性了解个够。</p>
<p>开始之前，要了解我们完成TCPIP配置的终极目标，即z/OS上可以PING通你的PC的IP，反之你的PC可以PING通你给主机分配的IP，即如下图所示：</p>

<p>如果你有一些基本的网络常识的话，应该会发现我们PC和Hercules上MVS的IP分别为：</p>
<p>MVS：192.168.1.27</p>
<p>PC：192.168.1.22</p>
<p>通常如果你用路由的话，路由器的IP为192.168.1.1，暂时我们并不会用到它。</p>

<p>要把无线网卡的MAC即物理地址记录下来，打开你的Hercules的CONF，在最后加入：</p>
<p># CTC Adapters</p>
<p>0E20-0E21 CTCI -n 00-24-D7-0D-3B-44 192.168.1.27 0.0.0.0</p>
<p>其中MAC是00-24-D7-0D-3B-44，后面的IP地址192.168.1.27是我们分配给MVS的IP，用这个CONF来启动Hercules。</p>
<p>下面我们创建一个新的TCPIP的PROC，并把STEPLIB，PROFILE，SYSTCPD的DD指向到我们自己的DSN：</p>

<p>接下来编辑SYS1.MIB.ZA1.TCPPARMS(PROF11)，加入DEVICE，HOME，GATEWAY几个语句，CTC是用来通讯的一个设备或通道，E20是这个设备的device no. ，即我们在CONF指定的0E20；</p>
<p>HOME指定了本MVS的IP地址，GATEWAY则指向了PC的IP地址。</p>

<p>在这个member的最下面加入START CTC1   语句，每次启动TCPIP都自动启动这个CTC。</p>
<p>需要注意的话，如果你也用DHCP动态分配路由网内的IP地址且不是永久分配的话，PC每次启动被分配的IP可能是不同的，即22是可变的，则你每次都需要确定自己PC的IP地址，然后修改主机的TCPIP设置后重启TCPIP。</p>
<p>TCPDATA暂时先不修改，等以后改到DB2的时候再来改不迟。</p>
<p>下面，请确保下列事项完全被完成：</p>
<p>1. 安装最新的<a href="http://www.winpcap.org/install/default.htm" target="_blank"><strong>WinPCap</strong></a>，安装后选择每次自动启动。</p>

<p>2. 下载<a href="http://www.softdevlabs.com/Hercules/CTCI-W32_3.2.1.160_bin.zip"><strong>CTCI-W32 binaries</strong></a> ，并把他们全部解压到你的Hercules安装目录下。</p>
<p>3. 下载最新的<a href="http://www.softdevlabs.com/Hercules/hercgui-index.html" target="_blank"><strong>Fishlib</strong></a>，并把他们全部（64位系统同样需要32位文件）解压到你的Hercules安装目录下，这将帮助解决下面2种error。</p>

<p>4. 安装<a href="http://www.ghacks.net/2011/05/13/configure-windows-7-network-adapter-binding-priority/" target="_blank">这里</a>的步骤，如果你的PC有2块以上网卡，比如一个无线网卡一个LAN网卡，把你处在连接状态的网络置于Adapters and Bindings的顶部。</p>
<p>5. 用AMDIN来启动Hercules以及TT32Test64程序。</p>
<p>这样即可重启启动Hercules，IPL，之前你或许需要重启PC，总之你看看到下面的内容以保证你的TCPIP和CTC和PC直接的通讯以完全建立：</p>

<p>配置完JES2，今天我们来对VTAM做一些简单的customize，VTAM/SNA和IP共同组成了Z上面的Communication Server，这部分通常稳定的很，装机之后就不需要太多的改动。</p>
<p>首先新建一个SYS1.MIB.ZA1.PROCLIB(VTAM)，在VTAMLST和VTAMLIB的DD里面分别concatenate我们自己的对应的DS，且不要忘记VTAMLIB所有的DS都需要APF，</p>

<p>发现在SYS1.MIB.ZA1.PARMLIB(COMMND11)我们指定的是COM=&#8217;S VTAM&#8217;，那么采用的默认的VTAM参数就是00，即SYS1.MIB.ZA1.VTAMLST(ATCSTR00)，我们新建一个ATCSTR11，把CONFIG改成11，其他内容暂时不需要修改：</p>

<p>于是我们创建一个新的SYS1.MIB.ZA1.VTAMLST(ATCCON11)，我在里面新加了一个APPL叫做SYSVAPPL（你可以不需要），这些都叫做Majornodes，你可以用D NET,MAJNODES命令才查看：</p>

<p>接着在你的COMMND里面把启动VTAM的命令改成COM=&#8217;S VTAM,,,(LIST=11)&#8217; ，ATCCON11里面的所有APPL在每次VTAM启动时都会被自动加载，IPL之后发现我添加的SYSVAPPL已经启动：</p>

<p>当我们跑了很多JOB之后，可能会在CONSOLE看到下面信息：</p>

<p>如果我们查看当前SPOOL使用状况的话，你会发现它已经快满了：</p>

<p>我们今天就对JES2进行一些基本的配置。</p>
<p>首先来到SYS1.MIB.ZA1.PROCLIB(JES2)，并作出如下修改：</p>

<p>COPY一份新的SYS1.MIB.ZA1.PARMLIB(JES2PA11)，首先来改变SPOOL VOLUME，找到SPOOLDEF关键字，修改DSNAME，TGSPACE和VOLUME参数如下：</p>

<p>然后提交下面JCL在我们之前已经准备好的M1SPL1和2上创建HASP DS</p>

<p>在没有重新IPL格式化这2个DS之前，他们是这个样子：</p>

<p>回到JES PARM，查找CKPTDEF，修改2个JES2 Checkpoint DS的名字和所在卷，他们应该分配在2个不同的卷上，以防止single point failure：</p>

<p>然后物理分配CKPT DS：</p>

<p>接下来找到JOBCLASS(STC)，如果你想让STC的LOG也保存下来的话，把OUTDISP改成KEEP：</p>

<p>再接下来找到JOBDEF，把JOBNUM改大一些，这样你的SPOOL可以容纳更多的JOB OUTPUT，同样也可以扩大RANGE范围：</p>

<p>为了不影响我们之前的一些系统配置，我们创建一个新的LOAD12，以保证之前的LOAD11随时可以用作应急启动：</p>

<p>然后新建IEASYS12并把COMMND关联到12，在SYS1.MIB.ZA1.PARMLIB(COMMND12)去掉WARM NOREQ的参数，因为下一次IPL要COLD启动JES2</p>

<p>要拥有上面这样的主页面，首先需要一个全新的LOGON PROC，之前我们用的是SYS1.MIB.ZA1.PROCLIB(ISPFPROC)，里面hard code了各种ISP*LIB，实际上是没有人这么用LOGON RPOC的，你只需要CODE少量的DD像下面这样即可，关键是把SYS1.MIB.ZA1.CLIST指定到SYSPROC，PARM=’ISPFMIB’这个member就存放在CLIST里面。</p>

		<description><![CDATA[[Hercules z/OS 1.11 customize step by step] &#8211; S0 Preview [Hercules z/OS 1.11 customize step by step] – S1 First IPL [Hercules z/OS 1.11 customize step by step] – S2 Prepare to customize &#160; 继续上一讲的内容，这次我们IPL用LOAD11，然后D IPLINFO 用D PARMLIB命令来查看当前系统PARMLIB的搜索顺序 登陆TSO打开SYS1.IPLPARM(LOAD11)你会发现跟这里面指定的PARMLIB的顺序是一致的，下面让我们来加入自己的PARMLIB——把USER什么的替换为上一节中我们已经COPY好的SYS1.MIB.ZA1.PARMLIB， 后面指定卷。 接下来让我们做一次IPL，今后我们可能要频繁进行IPL，作为初学者，在起步阶段有2个原则：一是要有一个可以把系统起来的LOAD，比如我们默认的9C，我们没有对它进行任何改动；一是每次做少量的改动然后IPL验证，一次参数改多了系统起不来，排查起来就会麻烦一些，如果你一步一个脚印一次只改一个参数，那出问题就肯定出在这上，有朝一日当你做到闭眼睛也可以把系统IPL的时候，也可以教育下一代了。 来，看一下我们自己MIB的PARMLIB已经在第一顺位了，真正的customize才刚刚开始…… 经过LOAD11后，系统找的第二个参数叫做IEASYSnn，它存在于上面3个PARMLIB之一，比如SYS1.MIB.ZA1.PARMLIB(IEASYS9C)，让我们做一个COPY叫做IEASYS11，并把LOAD11里面对应的SYSPARM改成11，打开它发现左边定义了各种各样的参数，很多个都是像其IEASYS本身一样，定义的是后2位后缀，比如CLOCK=00的意思是，系统会采用SYS1.MIB.ZA1.PARMLIB(CLOCK00)这个member对系统时间进行定义。 让我们从其中比较重要的CMD开始客户化，每一套参数的后缀其赋值都应该是统一的，比如这里我们以11为后缀，所以所有的参数取值就应该改为11，让我们找到CMD=9C对应的SYS1.MIB.ZA1.PARMLIB(COMMND9C)，做一份COPY为COMMND11——这个参数顾名思义，是系统经过NIP初始化之后启动所有STC的指令集，JES2作为primary subsystem也可以在这里启动，如果你IPL的时候有留意到JES2每次都会进行COLD initialization的话，在这里就找到根据了，COLD启动JES2会对SPOOL和CHECKPOINT进行初始化，也就是说IPL之前的SYSLOG和所有JOBLOG都会被抹掉，我们并不希望这样，所以这里让我们把COLD替换成WARM，其他不变，请你进行多一次IPL（别忘了CMD=11）。 下一个参数叫做MSTJCL11，对应IEASYS里面的MSTRJCL=11，这个不像上面的COMMND会有很多版本，MSTJCL一般只有一款MSTJCL00，这里指定了系统启动时最早期的STC所用的PROC的位置，比如JES2，它的原始位置本来是在ADCD.Z111S.PROCLIB(JES2)，如下我们把SYS1.MIB.ZA1.PROCLIB置顶，下一次被调用的PROC就将是SYS1.MIB.ZA1.PROCLIB(JES2)。这里需要强调的是，IEFPDSI的DD下面的DS必须是catalog在MCAT上，没有商量的余地。如果靠一个member毁掉整套ADCD系统，非MSTJCL莫属。请你进行IPL。 这次启动之后，SDSF里面的SYSLOG就会被保存下来了。下面让我们先暂时离开PARMLIB，打开SYS1.MIB.ZA1.PROCLIB(JES2)，在这里同样需要指定PROCLIB的位置，所有由JES启动的STC都应该存放在PROC00的DD下面的PROCLIB里，这组PROCLIB顺序和名称通常与上面MSTJCL的一致（不一致也可以除非你脑袋非常好使），虽然新的版本的OS支持动态向PROC00里面追加DS，但这项功能未免有些锦上添花了，第一个PROCLIB同PARMLIB一样，将是有机会成为一名SP的你终生小心呵护的DS。那么，做一次IPL好了。 从今后开始我们每次都可以进入SDSF LOG来查看所有的SYSLOG，在我们现在的启动选项中，你会发现DB2和MQ也被自动起来了，可是在上面控制启动的COMMND11里面没有这俩个STC啊？ 让我们去看一下VTAMD9这个PROC吧——这是一个通过VTAM来执行系统命令的PROC，实际的命令存放在ADCD.Z111S.PARMLIB(VTAMD9)里面，让我们创建一个新的SYS1.MIB.ZA1.PROCLIB(VTAM11)，并把ADCD的LIB分别替换为我们自己的SYS1.MIB.ZA1，其中STEPLIB指定的LINKLIB需要你把里面的load module（LMOD）也COPY过来。 接着让我们回到PARMLIB来COPY一个SYS1.MIB.ZA1.PARMLIB(VTAM11)，并去掉里面的-DB9G START DB2<a href="http://www.ibmmainframe.cn/2011/08/hercules-zos-1-11-customize-step-by-step-s3-iplparm/">&#160;&#160;[ Read More ]</a>]]></description>

<p>接着让我们回到PARMLIB来COPY一个SYS1.MIB.ZA1.PARMLIB(VTAM11)，并去掉里面的-DB9G START DB2 ， %CSQ7 START QMGR ，%CSQ7 START CHINIT 几行命令，下次IPL的时候DB2和MQ就不会自动启动了，这样每次开关机的速度就会快一些。</p>

<p>下面是否可以IPL了呢？稍等片刻，因为我们上面引入了一个STEPLIB叫做SYS1.MIB.ZA1.LINKLIB，需要对它进行一下APF授权，不这样做很有可能系统会无法执行VTAM11里面的程序，在主机上除了RACF或ACF2这种安全管理软件控制着权限外，主机本身还自备一套控制核心安全机制的措施，大多数的LMOD只有存放在APF授权的DS里面才可以被执行（你自己写的应用程序一般不需要），让我们打开IEASYS11，发现指定了PROG=D9，让我们改成PROG=11，然后COPY一个SYS1.MIB.ZA1.PARMLIB(PROG11)，并在ADCD.Z111S.LINKLIB下面加入我们的SYS1.MIB.ZA1.LINKLIB，不这样做的你会得到一个S047 ABEND：</p>
