     首先，Cobol是什么？Cobol是Common Business Oriented Language的缩写。与Java,C++这样的OO语言相比，主要的作用是用于处理大批量的记录。现在主要应用与大型机和小型机上面。

        Cobol中主要分为四个DIVISION分别是：

        1.IDENTIFICATION DIVISION
        2.ENVIRONMENT DIVISION
        3.DATA DIVISION
        4.PROCEDURE DIVISION
        下面是一个最简单的Cobol程序，用于输出”Hello World”:
        IDENTIFICATION DIVISION.
        PROGRAM-ID. HELLO.
        PROCEDURE DIVISION.
        DISPLAYHELLO.
        DISPLAY “HELLO WORLD”.
        STOP RUN.

该程序在大机上为：
